CAN THE MAD DOGS BRING HOME THE GOLD?
The Mad dogs now feel that they are ready for whatever may stand in their way of a provincial gold. They've recently added veteran inliner, Brett Stevens to their defensive core. Brett brings a rocket of a slapshot, along with superb intelligience, which the Dogs seem to need. Along with his knowledge of the game, Brett will bring some much needed "responsible" play to the team. Big things will be expected from veterans Cory Schactel, Justin Armstrong and Jeff Stevenson, along with an expected scoring touch from superstars Tyrus Cote, Mark Gawlinski and Jeremy Malcolm. As always, the Mad dogs are confident that their backstop, Jeff Lasher will get the job done in net. They will need defensive minded defensman more than ever if they are to take home the gold, and management feel that Macdonald, and Armstrong can keep things in tact at the blueline. The coaching staff are expecting to see an offensive spark come from the blueline, especially from Brett Pawlik, and Rob Albert.
